The South Devon Electric BIke and SUP Holiday is a 4 day self guided cycling and SUP trip starting and finishing in the stunning fishing village of Beesands. The route takes you along quiet rural lanes, through beautiful countryside and and along the coast. Every corner is a new discovery and every hill is a pleasure taking advatage of the top of the range electric bikes.
Each day you'll cycle crica 20km on quiet rural lanes with constant coastal views to keep you entertained and inspired.
You'll have awesome 2 x SUPing tiution and guiding experinces on the Salcombe and Dartmouth estaury
Your luggage will be transported from your accommodation every day and you'll have the opportunity to relax in the evenings or discover your transquil locations.

The Tour
This holiday combines exploring the Salcombe estuary and local countryside on electric bikes and stand up paddle boarding in the most amzazing locations on the Salcombe estuary and the River Dart.
The itinerary will be planned so you can have a lazy breakfast and start your adventuring at 11am cycling to your next destination at your leisure. You wil have two SUP experiences on the Salcombe estuary and on the River Dart in the secluded coves of Dartmouth.

Day By Day
Day 1 Beesands loop
You'll start with an amazing leisurely breakfast at The Cricket Inn that overlooks the water. You get aquainted with your electric bikes.
You'll cycle the beatufil countryside going through the picturesque village of South Pool and along the stunning estuary route. You'll stop off at Port Water House for expert SUP tuition on the Salcombe estuary.
On the cycle back to Gara you can stop by the Gara Rock Hotel for lunch or pick up a picnic lunch from the Venus Cafe.
On your return to Beesands you can relax on the beach until dinner!

Day 2 Beesands to Dartmouth
From Beesands to Dartmouth you'll cycle along the amazing coastal route towards Dartmouth the whole way passing the majestic Blackpool Sands. Here you can grab lunch on the beach from the Venus Cafe.
Continuing on the costal route you pass pretty cliff top villages before reaching Dartmouth with a quick detour to Dartmouth castle. You'll then glide into Dartmouth where you'll have time to check out the town.

Day 3 Dartmouth to Tuckenhay
After a leisurely breakfast you'll have a couple of hours SUPing on the River Dart with a qualified instructor and guide. Grab lunch in Dartmouth before getting back on your bike. You have a great cycle along the River Dart going past picturesque villages and glimpses of the River the whole time.
Once at your B and B right in the enviable position on the stream you can chill and have a walk or just celebrate an awesome trip so far and have a drink.

Day 4 Tuckenhay to Beesands
The final day is a 25km ride out of Tuckenhay following the inland route to Torcross via quiet beautiful country lanes. You get to the stunning Torcorss where you can get a seafood platter lunch on the beach front. A short cycle back to Beeasands to give back the bikes and make the journey back home after an awesome holiday.

Accommodation
During your cycling tour you will stay in a selection of hotels or B&B accommodation. The accommodation is situated on the beach and in beautiful Devon villages.
The hotels and B&B's have been selected for their customer service towards cyclists and their location.

Getting Here
Beesands is situated on the South West coast between Plymouth and Dartmouth nestled on the Salcombe Estuary. There is good access from the A38 connecting from the M5 motorway. Alternatively there are great trains links with London Paddington and Birmingham New Street with a change at Exeter St Davids. More information on train times and schedules can be found on the National Rail website. A taxi can be arrange for transfers.
If you are driving to Beesands there is a free area to park at the beach.
